Mobile Development Platform Chosen
28Oct08
After weeks of thinking and self-debate over what mobile platform to begin development on I have made a decision. The options were:
- J2ME (Java Micro-Edition)
- Android
- Windows Mobile
I chose Windows Mobile. I chose it because of:
- Powerful development environment
- Relatively easy learning curve (I already know C# & C++ like the back of my hand)
- Interest in Windows Mobile Devices
My first task is to port my GPA Calculator program from C#.NET to the Compact .NET framework, using C#. Should be an easy task. Once I do that, I have some ideas and semi-projects, I want to try out. Now to dust off my Visual Studio 2005 CDs. 😉
